CBI File Closing report in Suissant Singh Rajput Death Affaire, no proof of murder found

Sushazing Singh Rajput, 34, was discovered dead in his apartment in Mumbai Bandra on June 14, 2020. His death amazed many fans and led to various conspiracy theories, including the affirmations of the involvement of black magic, which sparked an investigation.

The officials confirmed that the closing report had been tabled for two cases: the accusations brought by the father of Sushaid Rajput against his girlfriend of the time and actress Rhea Chakraborty, and the claims of Mrs. Chakraborty against the family of Sushant.

The CBI resumed the Bihar police investigation in August 2020. After more than four years of investigation, sources said that the agency had found no evidence that anyone had caused the death of Suver Rajput, eliminating Ms. Chakraborty and his family from any reprehensible act. The CBI has absolved all the people named in the two FIRs deposited in the case, notably Ms. Chakraborty, her parents and his brother.

A medico-legal team from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMIs) also concluded that the death of Suver Rajput was not a murder, but rather a case of suicide.

After the death of Suver Rajput, the Bihar police filed suicide accounting on the basis of a complaint filed by his father, KK Singh, in Patna. The actor’s family accused Ms. Chakraborty of mentally tormenting him, administering medication, operating it financially and getting involved in his death.

When the CBI has taken control of the investigation, the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) was responsible for carrying out a medico-legal examination of the crime scene. A laptop, hard drives, a cannon camera and two mobile phones have been confiscated and fully analyzed.

Ms. Chakraborty was one of the more than 20 people interviewed during the investigation.

Following the submission of the closure report, the Bandra court of first instance set the next hearing for April 8. Once the court has approved the closure report, the case may be officially closed.

In a statement, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer, Sharpen Maneshinde expressed his gratitude to the CBI for investigating all aspects of the case, but criticized the false stories that surround him, calling them “completely useless”.

He said: “Because of the pandemic, everyone was stuck on television and social media in the absence of everything that is happening in the country. Innocent people have been tracked down and paraded before the media and investigative authorities. I hope this is not repeated in any case … Rhea Chakraborty underwent disinfected miseries and was behind bars for 27 days for the birth of justice to justice Sarang V Kotwal.
