Chennai Super Kings Rope In 17-Year-Old Batter Ayush Mhatre, SRH Name Replacement For Adam Zampa

Chennai Super Kings chose Ayush Mhatre to replace their wounded skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad, while Sunrisers Hyderabad signed Smaran Ravichandran in place of Adam Zampa for the rest of the Indian Premier League, the event organizer announced on Monday. Mhatre has played nine first class games and seven list the matches, scoring 962 points. The right -handed striker, which represents Mumbai in domestic cricket, joins CSK for Rs 30 Lakh.

Gaikwad was excluded from the tournament after suffering a fracture on his elbow. The SRH, on the other hand, has signed the left -hander of Karnataka, Ravichandran, who played seven first class games, 10 list the games and six T20 and has more than 1100 points. Ravichandran joins SRH for Rs 30 Lakh.

Zampa was excluded from the current event with an unpertified injury.

After winning only one of their six games so far, CSK will aim to win a track against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
