Dharma Productions has officially confirmed that Ananya Panday will play the main female role in the next romantic comedy You meri hand tera hand tera you meriWith Kartik Aaryan. The announcement comes just one day after a viral video has captured the shooting of the duo for the film in Europe, arousing the speculation of fans.

In the widely broadcast clip shared by Zoom Entertainment, Kartik Aaryan is seen enter a picturesque cafe by the roadside, while Ananya Panday appears sitting with a friend – at mid -half. Candid images quickly fueled online conversations, and now the production house has put rumors to rest with formal confirmation.
Directed by Satyaprem Ki Katha The filmmaker Sameer Vidwans, the film is a joint venture between Dharma Productions by Karan Johar and Namah Pictures. Cinematographic trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed that the film should strike cinemas on February 13, 2026, just before Valentine’s Day.
Interesting, Bollywood Hungama was the first to report in January 2025 that Ananya Panday had been finalized as women’s manager after a long series of casting discussions. At the time, the choice would have been summed up in Ananya and Sharvari. A source close to development had shared: “Kartik and Karan were looking for an actress with a strong attraction in youth and after considering the names, they locked Ananya to play the main female role. Ananya and Kartik are a successful pair, and this would extend their partnership more. ”
The film marks another collaboration between Kartik and Ananya, which have already been seen together Patni Aur Woh (2019). With this twinning, the manufacturers clearly aim to recreate the chemistry which resonated well with a younger audience.
