“Depicting CSK Were In Jail For Two Years…”: Ex-RCB Star Slams Ugly Fan War

Before the resumption of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the former drummer of India Robin Uthapppa denounced the ugly war of the fans between the supporters of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). In recent seasons, the jokes between CSK and RCB fans have sometimes become ugly, the two sets of supporters pulling ugly jibes on each other. A few days before the suspension of the IPL, RCB bordered CSK in a thriller to strengthen their chances of qualifying for the playoffs. Before the match, RCB fans were seen selling jerseys from CSK prison, by mocking them in the two seasons, they were prohibited from IPL (2016 and 2017).
However, Uthapppa, who represented the two franchises during his IPL career, was not impressed by RCB fans holding white t-shirts with black bands to make fun of CSK supporters.
