Digvesh Rathi Dishes Out Controversial ‘Notebook’ Celebration To Shreyas Iyer, Risks Another Fine

The Lucknow Super Giant (LSG) spinner, Digvezh Rathi, brought back his fiery celebration “ `Notebook ” against the kings of Punjab (PBKS), while he was collecting two counters in their 2025 IPL confrontation on Sunday. One of the most spoken celebrations in the tournament, Digvezh’s acts landed in hot water and have recovered several fines this season. The fines led to Digvez attenuating his celebrations, making them rather on the ground. However, after rejecting Shreyas Iyer and Prabhsimran Singh, Digvezh brought back his signing celebration.
Digvezh brought back his signing celebration first after rejecting Shreyas to the 13th during the PBKS rounds.
He then followed once again after obtaining the Prabhsimran counter in the penultimate on the sleeves.
Digvezh first celebrated the previous meeting between LSG and PBKS when he had rejected Priyansh Arya.
Digvez was sentenced to a fine several times by match officials earlier in the season for having celebrated, after which he had recourse to do so on the ground and not by hand. However, Sunday’s match saw the return of the celebration in its own right.

It will be interesting to see if BCCI again denounces a punishment similar to Digvezh.
His counters, however, were not sufficient while the kings of Punjab won a complete 37 -point victory on LSG, entering the first two of Table IPL 2025.
Rishabh Pant again had a hard time when his Lucknow Super Giants team collapsed at a fourth defeat in five IPL games, losing 37 points against the Kings of Punjab on Sunday.
The opener Prabhsimran Singh struck 91 balls on 48 balls to direct the Punjab at 236-5, helped by several impressive cameos at the second Kings house in Dharamsala.
Arshdeep Singh then returned brilliant figures of 3-16 because LuckNow could only do 199-7 in response. Pant fell in love with a 17-ball 18 in another failure for the star of India.
Pant, which was taken by LSG for a record price of RS 27 crosses during the auction of November, could not find any control of his stay despite his two and a six.
The Guichet-Bar goalkeeper has gathered only 128 points of 10 rounds this season.
Lucknow is seated seventh in the table, four points outside the fourth and last match place with three games to play.
The Punjab climbed second in the leaders Royal Challengers Bengaluru after their seventh campaign victory.
Lucknow was never in their prosecution after the designer of the left arm Arshdeep hit twice in the space of four balls during his second to send Mitchell Marsh, for a duck, then Aiden Markram, for 13.
