EXCLUSIVE: Akshay Kumar-starrer Kesari Chapter 2 to also feature Regina Cassandra in a crucial role : Bollywood News
Yesterday, the trailer full of action by Sunny Deol Jaat was revealed in a large way. The promotion presented a preview of Regina Cassandra. Meanwhile, another asset that dropped yesterday was that of Kesari Chapter 2. Although the manufacturers have revealed that he features Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday, Bollywood Hungama revealed that this film has another important member in its cast – Regina Cassandra.

A commercial source told Bollywood Hungama“She was held under the wraps by the manufacturers, but her character is quite crucial for the story. She plays C Sankaran Nair, the protagonist who is tried by Akshay Kumar.”
The teaser of Kesari Chapter 2 established the world and introduces C Dankaran Nair. Ananya Panday and R Madhavan should be revealed in the trailer. It remains to be seen if Regina Cassandra will arrive at the trailer or if the public will be able to say directly to see her when he ventures to see the film on April 18.
Kesari Chapter 2 is produced by Karan Singh Tyagi and tells the story of a renowned lawyer and fighter of freedom who faced the British Raj in his implacable pursuit of justice for the victims of the Massacre of Jallianwala Bagh. The film is inspired by the book “The case that shook the empire” by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. Kesari Chapter 2 is produced by Dharma Productions by Karan Johar, Cape of Good Films and Leo Media Collective.
This film will be the third release of Regina Cassandra in 2025. His first release of the year was the Telugu Biggie VidamuyarchiCo-Ajith Kumar. JaatOn the other hand, also features Randeep Hooda, Viineet Kumar Singh and Saiyami Kher. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, he will arrive in cinemas on April 10, that is to say a week before Kesari Chapter 2.
There were reports last year Kesari Chapter 2 was titled Shankara. He was initially supposed to be released on March 14, to coincide with Holi. Earlier this year, it was pushed until April 18.
