EXCLUSIVE: Ranveer Singh wraps up Dhurandhar shoot; 2 days of work left for Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt : Bollywood News
Bollywood Hungama has been at the forefront in giving updates on Dhurandhar. Last week, we updated readers on what we can expect from the film’s asset, which will be released by the makers, Jio Studios and B62 Studios, around the Diwali festival. And now we’re back with another exciting update straight from the sets of one of the most anticipated films of 2025.

A source said Bollywood Hungama“The main actor of DhurandharRanveer Singh, has completed shooting for his portions. Ranveer gave his all for this role and his last day on the set was very emotional and also fun.
The source added, “However, the shooting of the film is not over yet. There are 2 days of shooting left for Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna. It will be completed soon. The makers were aiming to complete the shooting by October 15 and that plan seems to be on track.”
The source also added, “Another project also in the works is to release the film in theaters on December 5. Contrary to what some of the industry speculated, Dhurandhar is not reported. As of now, there are no changes to the plan and post-production is in full swing. Additionally, the Diwali asset will also prominently mention the release date of the film.
Besides Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna, Dhurandhar also stars R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun. It is directed by Aditya Dhar of Uri: The surgical strike (2019) fame.
Last week, Bollywood Hungama had shared details about the Diwali promo: “The first look featured a version of the song ‘Jogi’ alias ‘Na De Dil Pardesi Naked’. The next asset will feature another recreated version of the song. But it’s faster and the visuals are also cut on the same lines. The first preview promo gave an idea of the world of Dhurandhar. The Diwali asset will give a little more insight into this world and the characters. However, there is no dialogue even this time. The directors’ idea is simple: build on the momentum of the first film, but at the same time, not reveal too much about the film.
