Gujarat Titans To Wear Lavender Jersey vs LSG To Support Fight Against Cancer

The players of Gujarat Titans (GT) will put on special lavender jerseys for their home match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 against the Super Giants of Lucknow (LSG) at the Narendra Modi stadium here on Thursday to support the fight against cancer. “Continuing this new initiative for the third consecutive year, the Titans aim to raise awareness of the critical importance of early detection and access to quality care for cancer patients,” said the franchise based in Ahmedabad in a statement.
“The match against LuckNow super-managers will be special because the Gujarat titans plan not only to beat for cancer survivors and patients, but also to unite fans for the cause by distributing thirty thousand lavender flags and ten thousand lavender jerseys between them,” he added.

“On May 22, Ahmedabad echoes the message of solidarity of thousands of spectators in the fight against cancer, while we aim to realize that cancer, in any form whatsoever, can be fought and defeated with appropriate care,” he said.
With 18 points in 12 games, the Gujarat titans are about to finish at the top of the table if they win their next two home games – against LSG and Chennai Super Kings (May 25).
