Kidambi Srikanth, Sankar Muthusamy Subramanian Out Of Thailand Masters Badminton

Former world voltiseur Kidambi Srikanth and Sankar Muthusamy Subramanian collapsed from the Thailand Masters Super 300 tournament after losing their respective quarter -final matches here on Friday. While Srikanth lost 17-21 16-21 against the sixth seeded Zheng Xing Wang, from China, the former Soubior of the Junior World No. 1 gave a difficult fight to another Chinese Xuan Chen Zhu before losing 21-19 18-21 13-21 in a match that lasted an hour and 10 minutes.

Later in the day, the pair in an Indian double to the eight seeded from Pruthvi Krishnamurthy Roy and K Sai Pratheek will face the second Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Daniel Marthin of Indonesia.

The other Indian in action will be Rakshitha Ramraj who should play Thamonwan Nithiittikrai from Thailand in the quarterfinals.
