According to a notice published in Komal Nahta Film Information Magazine by Rakhee Bajpai Tiwari, Legal Director of Dharma Productions Private Limited, the company has officially announced that it was acquiring the rights of remakes of the Odia Popular film of Odia Bou Buttu Bhuta (2025), with Babushaan Mohanty, Archita Sahu and Aparajita Mohanty. According to public opinion, the acquisition covers remake rights in all Indian languages and global languages, as well as derivative rights. This includes the possibility of developing, producing, distributing and exploiting remakes on all media and platforms. The rights also extend to the dubbing and subtitling of the film in all languages around the world, in perpetuity.
The opinion also indicates that Babushaan Films Private Limited, which holds the rights of the original film, is the only one and a legitimate owner of all the intellectual properties linked to the film and that the rights are free from any charge or third -party complaint. The interested parties, if necessary, were invited to make their complaints within 15 days of the opinion to avoid renouncing rights.
