Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) looks at the elimination, with regard to the EPL 2025 eliminatory race, after their last defeat against Gujarat Titans on Friday. The defeat of 38 points at the Narendra Modi stadium leaves Pat Cummins and his troops in ninth place with only six points of 10 matches. SRH can only reach a maximum of 14 points at the end of the league phase, with only four games to play. However, they still have an external chance to go to the playoffs.
SRH will have to win all their remaining matches, but all by good margins because their current net execution rate is -1.192.
They also hoped that other results go in their own way because there are currently three times – Mumbai Indians, Gujarat titans and Hyderabad Sunrisers – already on 14 points each.
The kings of Punjab are fourth on the table with 13 points after the match against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were washed. The two teams received one point each.
With the exception of the Royals of CSK and Rajasthan, the remaining eight teams are all in the running to go to the playoffs.
After the match, the captain of the SRH Pat Cummins opened up and blamed himself for the defeat of the team.
“A few things. Our power game with the bat was not too great. I was as guilty as anyone else. Probably let them get 20-30 additional races. Perhaps hang on to one or two catches. Again, I am guilty there. The prosecution of 200 looked a little more realistic. They are just classmakers.
“We have probably exploited too many bad bullets. It is a very good counter. Going for 140 in the last 14 Overs was good on the bowling game. Sharma beaten well. Nitish in the end. Adding complainants of the right arm.
