RCB Receive Huge Rs 12.5 Crore World Cup Winner Josh Hazlewood Boost As IPL 2025 Resumes – Report




The Australian team of fast cricket Josh Hazlewood should return to India to play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru while the IPL 2025 resumes, according to a report Hindustan time. The report said that the fast launcher will go to India soon, but no confirmed date has been mentioned. Hazlewood left India after IPL 2025 was suspended for a week in the middle of increasing border tensions between India and Pakistan. However, after the ceasefire, BCCI announced that the tournament would resume on May 17 and that the final will take place on June 3. Hazlewood missed the last RCB match due to a shoulder injury and with the WTC final just at the corner of the street, there were questions about his participation.

However, his return will be a huge boost to RCB because he took 18 counters in 10 games and played a massive role by almost guaranteeing a place in playoffs for his team.

“Yes, Josh will go to India. We are in discussion with the authorities of the exact date of his arrival,” a source close to Hazlewood in Hindustan Times told anonymity.

Meanwhile, the Australian duo of the versatile couture Marcus Stoinis and the gripper Josh Inglis should join the Punjab Kings (PBKS) for their 2025 match IPL against the Capitals of Delhi (DC) which take place Thursday on May 24 in Jaipur ,, Sources in Ians (DC).

IANS also understands that to date, Marco Jansen, Xavier Bartlett, Azmatullah Omarzai and Mitchell Owen have confirmed to PBKS that they will play the rest of IPL 2025, from May 17.

“Jansen, Bartlett, Omarzai and Owen are likely to join the Pbks camp in Jaipur by tomorrow. For Stoinis and Inglis, they will most likely join the second game, which is against DC. We still have to know the availability status of Aaron Hardie, however”, a conscious source of the developments was on the condition of anonymity.

Inglis and Jansen were appointed to the Australian and South African teams, respectively, for the World Championship final of the World Test (WTC), from Lord’s from June 11. It is not yet known for the duration of the duo available for PBKS in IPL 2025, which now ends on June 3.
