The rapid launcher of the legendary Antilles Ian Bishop embarked on cheeky jokes with his comments colleagues during the first Indian League in progress (IPL) and called some of them extremely “pro-CSK”. Bishop had a conversation with Ambati Rayudu and he continued to appoint Rayudu, Matthew Hayden and Shane Watson while saying that sometimes their opinions are extremely biased when the subject is their old team – Chennai Super Kings. This is not a good start to the campaign for CSK because they won only one of their first four games in this year’s competition.

“The guys from the CSK, right? Ambati Rayudu, Matthew Hayden, Shane Watson, they are very very pro-CSK. CSK must leave the room before confessing that CSK is not that. Given the success, I understand why there is a strong link, it is as this umbilical cord can never be cut”, he said about it, ESPN Cricinfo.

Rayudu took the comment in a fairly sporty way and accepted what his senior colleague said.

“I mean, shamelessly, we are,” replied Rayudu.

Meanwhile, following the defeat against the capital of Delhi (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the Skipper of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Ruturaj Gaikwad opened the reason behind the defeat.

The remarkable spells of the Vipraj Nigam and Kuldeep Yadav spinners have smothered the rating rate of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) while the Capitals of Delhi (DC) continued their winning race in the Premier Indian League (IPL) 2025 with a 24 -point victory at the Chepauk Stadium on Saturday.

“Since the last games, this has not been in our sense. We are trying to improve, doing our best, but we are not going. Lose too many counters. (Powerplay) This is a major concern even in the department of Bowling. We simply do not give. Bat, you do not want to lose an additional counter, but it is simply a question of being positive,” post-match.
