“Jasprit Bumrah Available For RCB Clash, Rohit Sharma…”: Mumbai Indians Provide Big IPL 2025 Updates

The star of the Indian Cricket team, Jasprit Bumrah, will be available for the next IPL 2025 meeting of the Indian Mumbai against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Monday. At the pre-match press conference, head coach Mahela Jayawardene confirmed that Bumrah would be available for the match after a prolonged absence due to an injury. Bumrah was missing in the action since the back injury he suffered during the Sydney test in the Border-Gavaskar trophy in January of this year. Jayawardene confirmed that Pacer looked good in practice and is impatient to participate in the competition against Virat Kohli and Co.
“He is available. He trains today, so he should be available,” Jayawardene told journalists.
Rohit Sharma did not play the last game after having been a knee injury during training, but he looks good and will probably be back for the Mumbai Indians.
“Rohit looks good. He will also beat today. We were traveling yesterday. He will have a blow today, so we are going to do an assessment on this subject,” said Jayawardene.
MI had a difficult start for IPL 2025, managing a single four -game victory. In the absence of Bumrah, the team made its debut to newcomers like Satyanarayana Raju, Vignesh Puthur and Ashwani Kumar, while Trent Boult, Deepak Chahar and Skipper Hardy Pandya ensured the responsibilities of rhythm.
Bumrah, Bumrah has played his entire IPL career with the Indians of Mumbai since his beginnings in 2013, amassing 165 counters in 133 games. The 2023 season remains the only one he missed before that due to a back injury.
His latest setback took place on January 4, on the second day of the last test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy in Sydney. It was then excluded from the Champions Trophy, which India won last month. This is his first problem linked to the back since he underwent surgery in March 2023.
