Addressing the constant buzz of the media around his growing celebrity, Kartik spoke of a recent report claiming that he invoices RS 50 crosses for a film – and the story that his “public relations game” is stronger than ever.

“Am I the only actor to have received such a prize? No one writes on others. Everyone writes about me,” said Kartik, clearly alluding to the targeted nature of speculation. When asked if his public relations machinery was behind such stories, Kartik firmly denied having made such a configuration by working for him. “The fact is that I have no spokesperson. Kartik, who has built his career without sponsor in the industry, stressed how his journey has often upset people who believe that success should not occur without links. “This news comes from elsewhere. It is not necessary that this is necessary. I do not need this to prove anything. There are some who are upset by the fact that people do it by themselves. And they try to do stories about this person,” he added.
