Karun Nair and Jasprit Bumrah were involved in a heated spit on the field during the 2025 IPL meeting between the Capitals of Delhi and the Mumbai Indians on Sunday. Karun looked in a breathtaking form as he slammed a half-century procedure of 22 bullets and dominated the procedures against Bumrah. He was finally dismissed for an 89 of 40 balls, but his performance earned him a lot of praise. Nair had a small collision with Bumrah while running behind the counters and it was the start of the argument between the two players. Bumrah was absolutely furious and after Karun explained his side, things settled a bit. Karun even had a conversation with Hardik but Rohit Sharma’s reaction to the whole situation has already become viral.

Coming to the match, the Mumbai Indians beat Delhi’s capital by 12 points.
Sent to Bat, Tilak Varma struck a 33-ball 59 to feed the Mumbai Indians at 205 for five.
Ryan Rickelton (41 out of 25 balls), Suryakumar Yadav (40 out of 28 balls) and Naman Dhir (38 out of 17 balls) also made useful contributions.
In response, DC had all released for 193 in 19 Overs, despite the 40-ball 89 of Karun Nair.
Karn Sharma (3/36) claimed three counters, while Mitchell Santner (2/43) took two counters.
For DC, Vipraj Nigam (2/41) and Kuldeep Yadav (2/23) broke two counters each, while Mukesh Kumar (1/38) took one.
