Lakshya Sen Bows Out Of Thailand Open, Aakarshi Kashyap And Unnati Hooda Advance

The Indian Shuttler Lakshya Sen crashed when the Thailand Open opened, while Akarshi Kashyap and Unnati Hooda progressed after hard victories in the Super 500 tournament here on Wednesday. Sen came across the Nhat Nguyen in Ireland in a battle held three games, losing 18-21 21-9 17-21 in a single male match which lasted an hour and 20 minutes. Unnati also fought until the next round, recording a granular victory 21-14 18-21 23-21 on Thamonwan Nithiittikrai in Thailand.

However, it was the end of the road to Rakshitha Sree Santhosh Ramraj, who lost his female opening in simple 18-21 7-21 in the eighth seeded Yeo Jia Min de Singapore.
