Lewis Hamilton Unharmed After Crashing During Ferrari Barcelona Test

The world champion seven times Lewis Hamilton crashed on the second day of the new Formula 1 team from Ferrari in Barcelona on Wednesday, but was unscathed. The 40 -year -old Briton, in his second test with Ferrari after 12 successful years with Mercedes, lost control of the 2023 car and hit the barriers of the Catalunya circuit. A source close to the team told AFP Hamilton was “absolutely OK” and always explored the limits of the car. Hamilton shares the car with the teammate Charles Leclerc while he is preparing for the 2025 season which begins in March with the Australian Grand Prix.

His two -year agreement with Ferrari started last week when he crossed the towers on the Fiorano test track near the Maranello de Ferrari base.

Ferrari will unveil his new car on February 19 in Fiorano, one day after the launch event of the F1 season in London to mark the 75th anniversary of the sport.
