Lionel Messi, Inter Miami Bounce Back With 4-1 Crushing Of Red Bulls

Lionel Messi was on the target while Inter Miami rebounded from the leaving the Concacaf Champions Cup, beating the New York Red Bulls 4-1 at Chase Stadium on Saturday. Miami had lost its last three games, including a 5-1 global defeat against the Whitecaps of Vancouver in the semi-finals of the Champions Cup, but they obtained a good help with a comfortable victory in the major league. The Fafa Picault opened the scoring in the ninth minute, exploding at home with the rear post after Luis Suarez fell on a crossroads by Marcelo Weigandt.
The lateral rear Weigandt doubled the advantage in the 30th minute when his diving head was ready by Carlos Coronel and the Argentinian followed to pick up the ball at home.
The objective was initially reported for the offside, but after a Var exam, the arbitrator ruled that he should be held.
Suarez succeeded 3-0 nine minutes later, pulling home during the second attempt after his initial shot was blocked, but the Red Bulls withdrew a goal before the break.
An Omar Valencia corner deeply at the rear post was completed on Oscar Ustari and in the most distant corner to give visitors a little hope for the second half.
Miami remained above, however, and Messi extended his advantage in the 67th minute, playing a two with Telasco Segovia and holding Noah Eile before beating Coronel with a finish of the left foot.
The goal put an end to a series of four matches without Messi being on the match sheet and the victory had Miami passed in fourth place from the Eastern Conference.
Elsewhere, the former midfielder of Saint-Etienne Dylan Chambost opened his account in MLS with the first goal of the 4-2 victory of Columbus Crew against Charlotte.
The crew led the east on 24 points, two in front of the Philadelphia Union, which continued their excellent season with a 2-1 victory in Montreal with the Danish striker Mikael Uhre winning a winner of the 84th minute.
DC United beat Colorado Rapids 2-1 with goals from Christian Benteke and a flight from the Japanese midfielder Hosei Kijima.
