“Lowest Of Lows”: Ambati Rayudu No-Nonsense Take On Chennai Super Kings’ Debacle

After the desolate race of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2025 continued with a defeat at five counters against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), the former Indian paste Ambati Rayudu said that the five -time champions will now be very attentive to the evolution of the current style of playing Cricket T20. Despite some modifications to their eleven to play at the my Chidambaram stadium, the quest for CSK to obtain a victory did not give the desired result, which has always remained them in the tenth place in the point table.
“I know that it is the lowest of the stockings, but it is also an excellent learning for CSK. If you are based on your laurels and you do not keep an eye on the future, this is what can happen. From now on, they will be very, very vigilant to evolve with the game. Even MS Dhoni has recognized that the game has evolved and I am sure that he is already thinking about a team for a year.”
“We have seen bright lights in the range of strikers, in particular Brevis and Mhatre – these are real positives. Sometimes it takes a season like this to found a team and remind them that the game is always bigger than we do. You have to stick to the bases and stay humble,” said Rayudu on Jiostar.
The only silver liners for CSK were 30 and Dewald Brevis by Ayush Mhatre making 42 during his beginnings for the franchise. Rayudu also discussed CSK’s continuous striker struggles during the season. “I don’t think there is confusion in selection of shots – if anything, there are not enough shots. The strikers take more time than they should.”
“The change of staff was necessary, and what we see now is more a test for next season. I do not think that CSK can postpone most of their current team-at best, seven or eight players could be kept,” he added.
Saturday’s IPL 2025 match will see Shreyas Iyer leading the kings of Punjab against his former Kolkata Knight Riders team in Eden Gardens. Pbks had previously beaten KKR when they defended 111 in New Chandigarh.
“He will have great memories of the ground and KKR, having won the IPL with them last season. There will be a little fire in the belly – he was not kept, and now he is captain of Punjab. I think he will be concentrated and motivated. Punjab looks at Rayudu.
