LSG Mentor Zaheer Khan’s Big Accusation At Lucknow Staff, Says “Felt Like Punjab Curator Made Pitch”

Another IPL home team was frustrated by the conditions on their own land. After an eight titles defeat with 22 balls to lose in their first home game of the season, Lucknow Super Giant (LSG) mentor Zaheer Khan noted that he had the impression that the opposition had brought their own curator to prepare the field. “What was a little disappointing for me here …”, said Zaheer at the post-match press conference, quoted by Espncricinfo.
“Since it is a home and IPL match, you saw how the teams planned to take a little home advantages, from this point of view, you saw that the curator does not really think that it is a home game. I think it might look like, you know, it was the curator of the Punjab here,” he added.
“It is therefore something that we will understand. This is a new configuration for me, but I hope it is the first and the last match with regard to that. Because you also disappear Lucknow fans. They found so many expectations to win the first home game here,” he noted.
“As a team, we are confident. We Accept that we are lost the game, and we have Got to Do Whatever It Takes to Make Impact in the Home Leg. We Still Have Six More Games To Go Here, and this Team has shown in the Season So Far, Whatever Little Cricket Is Played, That We have the Right Outlook and the mindset to look at the iPl.
With injuries limiting their quick denigration options, LSG could have preferred land that favored rotation or at least neutralized the rhythm attack of the kings of punjab (PBKS). However, they only fueled two rapid front lines, including a last -minute addition to Shardul Thakur, while their team has only one quick bowler abroad – Shamar Joseph.
PBKS capitalized on the conditions with their trio of rhythm of Arshdeep Singh, Lockie Ferguson and Marco Jansen, who combined for figures of 5/112 in 13 Overs, with Marcus Stoinis in the process of rejoicing two other overs.
Zaheer, on a bad reading of the field, said: “This is what we say. We will go according to what the conservative tells us. We do not use it as an excuse. We have seen in the last season. Important.
Even the captain of the LSG Rishabh Pant admitted to the post-match presentation that they expected to a slower track, which led to their decision to replace the Seamemer Prince Yadav by Spinner M Siddharth.
“The idea was to get a slower window. We estimated that it was a home match; it was going to stop a little. I think the slowest, when they made a building in the counter, were still in it, but we were not good enough that day. We have to learn and go ahead. It is our first game at home. Always assess the conditions,” said Pant.
LSG now joins Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to express concerns about the conditions of height at home. KKR had previously declared that they wanted more user -friendly areas, but had no control over preparations, while CSK – made the best home victories record in the history of IPL – has struggled to predict the conditions on their land in the past two years.
