LSG Owner Sanjiv Goenka’s Never-Seen-Before Gesture For Rishabh Pant. Shares A Laugh With Rohit Sharma

The owner of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Sanjiv Goenka, was a man relieved after his team won an exciting victory against the Indians of Mumbai in IPL 2025 on Friday. LSG limited the IM to 191-5 in pursuit of a target of 204 points, bouncing their previous loss against the kings of Punjab (PBKS). After the match against PBKS, Goenka was spotted with an animated conversation with the captain of the LSG Rishabh Pant, apparently scorking the latter for the team’s wrong show. However, Goenka was in an avatar never seen before LSG’s narrow victory over the five -time champion Mi.
After the match, Goenka was very smiling while chatting with Pant and Mi Great Rohit Sharma. In a viral video, Goenka was also spotted by typing Rishabh Pant on the back, expressing its satisfaction on the performance of LSG against MI.

On Saturday, the captain of the LSG was sentenced to a fine by the BCCI for having maintained a slow pace.
In addition to Pant, the leg spinner, Diggesh Rathi, was sentenced to a fine of 50% of his match fees for violating the IPL code of driving in the same meeting.
On Friday, recent sanctions against the LSG are on their narrow 12 -point victory on the Mumbai Indians. IPL published a statement on Saturday to announce that the SUPER GIANTS skipper was penalized for breaking the code of conduct and was sentenced to a fine of RS 12 LAKH.
“Rishabh Pant, captain, super giants of Lucknow, was sentenced to a fine after his team had a slow exaggerated pace during match 16 of the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 against the Indians of Mumbai at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpaye Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Friday,” IPL said in a statement.
“As was the first offense of the season of his team under article 2.22 of the IPL code of conduct, which concerns minimum rate offenses, Rishabh Pant was sentenced to a fine of 12 Lakh INR,” added the press release.
Pant became the third skipper after Riyan Parag, the Skipper of the Indians of Mumbai, the Skipper of the Indians of Mumbai, was condemned to a fine for having maintained the slowdown in the pace this season.
