Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, known for her role in front of Shah Rukh Khan in the 2017 Bollywood film RaesDeleted his Instagram post sentenced the recent terrorist attack to Pahalgam, Jammu-et-Cachemire. The attack, which occurred on April 22, 2025, cost the lives of 26 lives, mainly tourists, and aroused generalized sorrow across India and beyond.

Thursday, April 24, Mahira shared a message on her Instagram stories, describing the attack as an act of “cowardice”. His article said: “Violence all over the world, in any form or form is an act of simple cowardice. My condolences to all the people affected by the attack on Pahalgam ”, accompanied by an emoji with a broken heart. However, the position was deleted on Friday morning, which caused various online reactions.
Several other Pakistani celebrities, including Fawad Khan, Hania Aamir and Mawra Hocane, also condemned the attack, expressing her solidarity with the families of the victims. Fawad Khan, for example, shared his sorrow on Instagram, declaring: “Deeply saddened to hear the news of the odious attack in Pahalgam. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this horrible incident. ”
The attack on Pahalgam, one of the deadliest in the region since the 2019 Pulwama attack, has targeted tourists in the picturesque Vallée de Baisaran. The reports indicate that the attackers questioned the victims of their religion before opening fire, intensifying the impact of the tragedy. The incident aroused the condemnation of world leaders, Indian political figures and Bollywood stars, notably Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan, among others.
