“Many Things Have Been Said About Me…”: Rohit Sharma Blasts Critics Of His Batting In Scathing Rant

Rohit Sharma has announced his Cricket test retirement, but will continue to play and direct India in the format of a day. In ODI Cricket, Rohit was fresh out of India to his third crown of the Champions Trophy. However, Rohit also underwent his fair share of criticism for incoherent performance with the bat. The 37 -year -old man crossed raw patches, especially in test cricket and in IPL. Now, in an interview, Rohit has labeled certain criticisms against him as “useless”.

“Criticism is part of the life of an athlete. Criticism is necessary and important. But what I am against unnecessary criticism. I don’t like it,” said Rohit, speaking in a interview With journalist Vimal Kumar.

“There was a lot about me. But I don’t pay attention to all of this, and that did not affect me,” said Rohit.

Rohit said he was unnecessarily criticized to suppose a weakness against the pacers of the left arm. However, he chose to focus on his performance instead of replying criticism.

“So many things have been said about me – as if I couldn’t play the fast arm of the left arm, and many other things – but now I am no longer paying attention. Now, if you are going to defend it, many things could go wrong. And you will waste in time, and time is precious. My job is to attack,” said Rohit.

Rohit is widely considered one of the best modern strikers, having raised more than 11,000 races in ODI Cricket, more than 4,000 points in test cricket and is also the highest scorer in India in T20I cricket.

Rohit Test Cricket’s retirement before the tour of India in England in June left a big hole to be filled, as to which will resume its place as a captain. The Jasprit Bumrah stimulator and the shubman Gill striker seem to be the favorites.
