Ltd., Metro in Dino is an autonomous film but is thematically linked to the cult success of Basu 2007 Life in a … metro and 2020 Ludo. This film marks the last chapter of the unique trilogy of the director who weaves in a complex way of several stories and characters, connected not only by events, but by an emotional resonance and a contemporary relevance.
The next film has a stellar cast, notably Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal and Neena Gupta. With such powerful names at the top of the project, Metro in Dino Promises to deliver layers that reflect the complexities of love and resilience in the world to the rapid pace of today.
Anurag Basu finds the longtime employee and music composer Pritam who has aroused greater excitement as music from Metro in Dino should be a highlight, remaining faithful to the emotional nucleus of the story while offering a new sound landscape to the new generation.
