Akshay Kumar channels Kesari Chapter 2 spirit while condemning Pahalgam terror attack : Bollywood News
Akshay Kumar, who is currently promoting his latest film Kesari: Chapter 2addressed the heartbreaking terrorist attack of Pahalgam during a recent event. His words reflected anger and sorrow that many Indians felt after the tragedy that struck on April 22, 2025.

Pahalgam’s terrorist attack targeted a group of civilians, including most non-Islamic tourists, who were traveling in the Jammu-et-Cachemire district. The attackers set an ambush on a bus, opening fire to unarmed travelers. At least eight people lost their lives while more than twenty years have been injured. The security forces have intensified combing operations in the region since the attack. The authorities described it as a deliberate attempt to regain fear before the season of tourists in cashmere.
Akshay Kumar previously brought social media to express his sorrow and anger. “Horrified to know the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam. The evil of evil to kill innocent people like that. Prayers for their families,” he wrote on X, capturing the feelings of a mourning nation.
Released on April 18 Kesari: Chapter 2 is inspired by real events and follows the history of the Indian statesman C Sankaran Nair while he takes a historical position against the British crown after the massacre of Jallianwala Bagh. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film presents Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday and R Madhavan in hinged roles. Critics praised the film for its moving representation of courage and justice, the powerful performance of Akshay standing out.
The moment of Kesari: Chapter 2 Feels even more poignant now, because the nation is once again struggling with the harsh reality of terrorism and the need to remain united in the face of adversity.
