Known for its calm and cool behavior, the Chennai Super Kings icon (CSK) MS Dhoni lost its cool at the Khaleel Ahmed pace in their 2025 match against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The incident occurred after the second ball in the 11th in RCB rounds, with Raviund Jadeja Bowling in Virat Kohli, who was getting closer to a record for the seventh half-century of the season. Dhoni seemed a little frustrated by Khaleel, who was out of his position when the skipper put the ground.

Meanwhile, Ayush Mhatre’s 94 and 77 not out of Ravira Jadeja went to vain while RCB beat CSK by two points to recover first place in Table IPL 2025.
Chasing 214, CSK scored 211 for 5 in their 20 Overs. Mhatre scored a 98-ball 94 with five six and nine four while adding 114 points with Jadeja (77 steps on 45 balls, 8x4s, 2x6s) for the second window.
For RCB, Lungi Ngidi returned with 3/30 figures. Earlier, the half-centurys of Jacob Bethell (55), Virat Kohli (62) and Romario Shepherd (53 not out) brought RCB to 213 for five.
While Bethell and Kohli made 97 points for the opening window to define a platform, Shepherd exploded four four and six to make 53 not only 14 balls, recording the fifty faster of the season and the second fastest in the general classification.
For CSK, Matheesha Pathirana found his rhythm and her lengths to return 3-0-36-3.
