Napoli On Brink Of Title Glory In Serie A Finale

Napoli is about to claim its second series of Serie A in three seasons while they are heading for the last weekend of the campaign leading to Scudetto Rivaux at Inter Milan in one point. Antonio Conte’s team welcomes Cagliari in front of what will be a crowded Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Friday evening, at the same time as Inter Lance at the Como informs. The dramatic draw last weekend in Parma left Napoli to match or better the result of Inter in Como in order to secure a fourth league crown.

After that, the future of tale in Napoli is still in doubt with the Italian media which largely report that he will return to Juventus, where he spent the majority of his career as a player full of trophy and won three league titles as a coach.

“Winning the Scudetto would reimburse all the efforts that I have moved this season. I know that I am very tired and that I am more or less ok to reach the end of the season,” said Conte after Sunday.

Neither tale nor her interpretite counterpart Simone Inzaghi will be in their respective canoes on Friday after the two were sent to a penultimate round of matches which ended with Napoli and Inter Drawing.

Inzaghi was enraged during the penalty from which Pedro de Lazio equalized for the second time on Sunday, a kick of the 90th minute which was faithful to a handball by Yann Bisseck who made the interval so much angry that no one spoke to the media after the 2-2 draw in San Siro.

Meanwhile, Conte almost had any blows with a Deputy Director of Parma, Antonio Gagliardi, the analyst of the tale match with the Italian national team a decade ago, in the last moments of Parma, just like the fans of Napoli celebrated the kick of Pedro.

The former Spanish international Pedro has become an instant hero in Naples while the 14th goal of the 37-year-old season kept Napoli at the top of the division before the last weekend.

Title Possibility of the playoffs

Napoli and Inter matches were scheduled for Friday to give an interdeed time to prepare for the Champions League final on May 31, even in the unlikely case that the two teams end the level on points and leave the title to decide with a playoff series on Monday.

The threat of a play-off complicated the final of the season, in particular for the Inter whose force test with Paris Saint-Germain in Munich is now the priority with their defense of the League title as well as more.

A possible play-off had been initially planned for next week, but this is now untenable for Inter and for Serie A, a league that has not had European champion since Jose Mourinho guided Milan giants to the triples 15 years ago.

The League had reserved Thursday as the new date for Napoli and Inter so that a play-off is scheduled for the weekend, but Napoli and the Dazn broadcaster would have been against the idea and that led to the choice of Friday for its championship final matches and Monday for any eliminatory.

However, for a play-off to occur, Napoli should lose on Friday, unlikely against a team without playing anything, and intervening in Como.

Inter has the more difficult task on Friday while the Como took 20 points from their last eight games and is on the right track to finish the 10th, their highest place since the ninth – although in a league at 16 teams – in 1986.

Juventus needs one more victory to retain Roma and Lazio and secure the fourth and last place in the Champions League. The Igor Tudor team heads on Sunday in Venezia which is 19th and one of the five teams that are fighting against relegation on the last day.
