No Need For Big Changes At Liverpool, Says Arne Slot

The manager of Liverpool, Arne Slot, thinks that the maintenance of the team which is stored towards the title of the Premier League is more important than the major major signatures. Reds’ plans for next season have been stimulated by Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk sign new offers to stay in Anfield in last week. Trent Alexander-Arnold would still be ready to join Real Madrid during a free transfer when his agreement expires at the end of the season. Van Dijk declared before agreeing with his new contract which he expects a “big summer” on the Reds transfer market.
Federico Chiesa, who played a peripheral role.
But with Liverpool 13 clear points at the top of the Premier League, the Dutchman is satisfied with the team he has at his disposal.
“Let’s see what the rest of summer will bring, but it would be strange for me to say now that I am not satisfied with the team because I have said it for a year, we are satisfied with the team we have,” Slot said on Friday.
“Maybe if we can keep this team, it will already be a great summer.
“I think that the heart of the team you want to keep as long as you can together, as long as they occur in the best possible way, but it is also good to have new energy in and around the place with one or two players.
“But it is not really a necessity when you look at the quality we have and the quality of the season we had.”
Liverpool could seal the title on Sunday if they win in Leicester and Arsenal lose against Ipswich.
Alexander-Arnold is back in the running to appear after his return to training after an ankle injury.
Slot praised the “incredible” quality of the right back and refused to lose the hope of retaining the international in England.
“As he is on the field, he shows me which great player he is and he has shown how much he tries to reach our goals this season,” added Slot.
“Fans and all those who have watched football for the last five, six, seven years old, that he is an incredible great rear and was an incredible great rear for this football club.
“Let’s see what the future brings.”
