Rajasthan Royals Break Silence On ‘Match-Fixing Allegations’, Demand Action Against…

Tensions intensified between the Rajasthan Royals and the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) after Jaydeep Bihani, head of the RCA ad hoc committee, raised doubts about the recent loss of RR in 2 points to Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL 2025. Bihani suggested that the result could be questionable and even disputed. In response, the management of the IPL franchise has officially complained to the chief minister, the Minister of Sports and the Sports Secretary, calling for strict action against Bihani.
Deep Roy, a senior team official, categorically rejected Bihani’s declarations as “false, without foundation and without any evidence”.
Bihani had published a statement in the event of suspicion not only on the performance of the team, but also accused Rajasthan Royals, the Rajasthan Sports Council and the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) collusion for the key to the ad hoc committee of the RCA of IPL activities.
The management of the RR has opposed these claims strongly, declaring: “We reject all the allegations made by the head of the ad hoc committee. These public declarations are not only misleading, but have caused serious damage to the reputation and credibility of Royals Rajasthan, Royal Multi Sport Limited (RMPL), the Rajasthan Sports Council, and the BCCI.
The franchise underlined its 18 -year -old partnership with the Association and the State government, as well as its continuous work in full compliance with the BCCI directives. According to current BCCI arrangements, Rajasthan Sports Council holds the official rights to host IPL matches in Jaipur for the current season.
The Royals clarified that they were working in coordination with the Council and the BCCI under the direction of the government of the State to ensure the successful conduct of the tournament. Earlier, Bihani said RCA has successfully organized the ICC-BCCI international matches and competitions.
But the Sports Council conspires against sporting interests by keeping the ad hoc committee formed by the government far from the IPL match which will be held in Jaipur. State Sports Council prevented the ad hoc RCA committee from the organization of IPL. They did not even make accreditation cards for members related to the event, he said.
