Directed by Kaushal Oza, Little thomas is a calm story and focused on the characters in Goa, and the role of Dugal added another dimension to its evolving repertoire.
Rasika said, “Little thomas is a beautiful and lyrical story about the simple life of a Goan family and innocent chaos in this simplicity. I was lucky to explore the life of Jessie Miranda (the character I play) and his love for music. Bonus – I learned to play the piano! What more could you ask for an actor. The technology gave us so much that to play in cinema that sometimes I think, the soul of a film is drowned in raidmatazz. Little Thomas does none of this. He joined his story without any unnecessary frills. In addition, the script has a sense of humor that I really appreciated. I am delighted that the film closes the New York Indian Film Festival. The public of the festival is demanding and I fully appreciate their response. In addition, I am always very moved by the way in which the Indian diaspora reconnects with their homeland through the stories that we are racing. It is very moving to see this.
