Rishabh Pant’s Last-Over Stumping Blunder Costs LSG The Match Against DC – Watch

The skipper of LuckNow super-managers, Rishabh Pant, did not dress too much on the opportunity of failed rush to the decisive moment of a thrilling confrontation against the capitals of Delhi in the in progress Indian League (IPL) 2025 in Visakhapatnam. Ashutosh Sharma (66 *) came out of the darkness, became a brilliant knight of DC in armor and alone challenged high-flying super-managers. With chances stacked against its side, Ashutosh trembled LSG and brought the equation to six in the last six deliveries. Pant thought of the box and put the ball back to Shahbaz Ahmed to see the nervous affair. On the first ball, Mohit Sharma fell on the fold, missed the line and the ball hit his cushion.

Pant missed the opportunity to channel Mohit but used DRS for LBW. The examination indicated that the ball had missed the stumps, allowing the capitals to sigh in relief.
Mohit pushed the ball for a simple and brought Ashutosh on strike. The 26-year-old smoked the ball for a maximum imposing above Shahbaz’s head to tear a thin victory from a counter of the defeat jaws.
While DC experienced a feeling of Schadenfreude, LSG fans focused on the stump moment. For pants, it is a common event that can occur in a cricket game.
“Certainly, Luck plays a role in this game, and if he could have missed his pads (Mohit Sharma), it was a chance to disturb. But these things happen in the cricket game. You cannot focus on these things, but rather, you have to play a better cricket,” said Pant in the post-match presentation.
Even if the play turned in favor of DC, leading to the LSG stick, visitors breathed fire to entertain the spectators. Mitchell Marsh (72) and Nicholas Pooran (75) were the main sources of pleasure for fans.
Marsh played with the hosts, while Pooran was a living nightmare for capital spinners. Their explosive release laid the foundations for the LSG to cross the 200 -point brand.
Despite his lack at the end, Pant was ready to take the positive points of the game and underlined the need to constantly make the foundations.
“I think that our first -rate strikers have played very well, and I think it was a fairly good score on this counter. As a team, we are trying to take positive points from each match, and as a team, we will learn from it (each match.) The more we do bases, but we did not know that it is not the goodest that we did not know.
The momentum oscillated from the moment the capital began to continue an intimidating target of 210 points. The Super Giants rocked the higher order of the capital with their precise line and their threatening lengths.
The besieged capitals drink at 65/5 in the seventh, with their victory about to lie in a grave. DC needed something special, a moment at the exit of blue to revive the discolving spark.
While Ashutosh wrote the last sentence of the captivating pursuit, DC had some practical partnerships that contributed to their cause. A 55-point stand between Ashutosh and Vipraj Nigam (39), a 45-point partnership between Tristan Stubbs and Ashutosh, and a 43-point counter-attacking partnership between Axar Patel and Faf du Plessis contributed to the success of DC.
“I think they had some good partnerships. One with Stubbs, one with Ashutosh and one with another guy (Vipraj Nigam.) I think he (nigam) did a very good job and took the game to us.
