Skipper Rajasthan Royals (RR), Riyan Parag, won the draw and chose to play the first against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) during the 18th edition of the Indian Premier (IPL) on Thursday. The match takes place at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Before the shock, the RCB is placed in fourth place in the point table with ten points in eight games, after winning five victories and three defeats. On the other hand, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) are found in eighth place with only four points, finishing only two victories in eight games so far.
Riyan Parag said after winning the draw: “We will first play.
“We would also have loved the bowls, the surface was delicate and unpredictable this season and we will try to adapt as quickly as possible. We must be good in the selection of shots. We are going with the same team,” said Captain RCB Rajat Patidar.
