“Rohit Sharma Not Helping”: Mumbai Indians Asked To Demote Ex Skipper In Batting Order

The bad series of form of Rohit Sharma has not allowed Mumbai Indians to set the tone in the IPL so far, believes that the former captain of Indian women Anjum Chopra. The former MI captain was reduced to an impact submarine for the side directed by Hhedik Pandya with a chain of low scores, 0.8, 13, 17 and 18, which cut a desolate figure in the IPL. Mi A shaped a 12 -point victory in his recent match against Delhi’s capital on Sunday and was salted in seventh position in the table of points with ten teams with four defeats and two victories.
“You can be out of shape. It is not a crime to be out of shape. The only idea is that it does not help, it does not define the beginning that the Indians of Mumbai sought or are looking for the summit,” Anjum told PTI videos in an exclusive interaction on Tuesday.
Anjum suggested that if Rohit’s famous position at the top is not able to give them the feedback they are looking for, then the detangling in order could do the trick.
“So, I mean, they have options, they can always try to push Rohit Sharma in order or not use all these options are still there. But it is not that Rohit Sharma is out of shape, it’s just that sometimes you don’t start the tournament on this good note or high note and that it can affect you as a paste or as a player too.”
“So, it’s an integral part. It is as if we were looking at a tournament as it is an IPL or a World Cup. But tell me, in a World Cup, would you like your best dough in a world cup or not? And a lot of energy goes to this kind of performance.”
“Some people are recovering from this and enter the next tournament faster than most or others. It is not that others cannot enter it. He does not have this kind of departure, but we then know what kind of player he is or what type of match winner,” said Anjum.
It’s not at all dark for Shafali
It is not all the misfortune and sadness of the young opener Shafali Verma, that Anjum advised not to lose heart after being neglected again.
“If it is rested or deposited with an Indian team, there is always an opportunity to make a return. I mean, it happened with everyone. It is not that the heavens have fallen or that the tides changed. Each player crosses it.
“So, for an age player and if she starts to think and people around her are starting to think that they are curtains for her, I think it’s a bad thought. A 20, 21 -year -old player can always look at the right side that this is only the start of my career.
“I don’t think it’s curtains for her. I mean, we play for India at the end of the day. So you expect this kind of competition,” said Anjum who played 12 tests, 127 ODI and 18 T20is for India.
