Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad head coach Daniel Vettori speaks after the match, admitted that the team’s strategy to maximize the power game has completely turned against him.
“I think that, obviously, the draw was important. We wanted to play first because the conditions were very different, (it was a different counter) for the previous ones. I mean, we discussed that it is a counter of 280, 250. So, the conditions changed in a spectacular way. So, to be able to obtain this assessment early on what was a score by, is obviously difficult.
“When you go early, you try to maximize this power game. And unfortunately, we could not do it, and we continued to lose counters. Once we realized that the surface was not what we had planned, so we had to build towards this kind of score of 180. This, unfortunately, is difficult to do when you are 24 years old after the power game.”
