“Sad And…”: Ex-Pakistan Captain Mohammad Hafeez’s ‘Heart-Broken’ Reaction On Pahalgam Terrorist Attack

The terrorist attack on innocent civilians in Pahalgam, in cashmere, is universally convicted. The tourist hotspot in Pahalgam on Tuesday has witnessed one of the largest terrorist strikes that cashmere has seen lately. The victims were citizens from across the country, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka in the south to Arunachal Pradesh in the east to Uttar Pradesh in the north, among others. Indians on social networks around the world have asked the government to take strong measures in the form of destroying the Padis of terrorists.

The people involved in the vile terrorist attack in the cashmere Pahalgam will obtain a strong response in the “near future” and India cannot be “intimidated” by such terrorist activities, the Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh said on Wednesday. His remarks in an address during an event occurred one day after 26 people were killed by terrorists in Pahalgam in an attack which sparked a large indignation in India and abroad.
“From this platform, I assure the compatriots that given the incident, the government of India will take every necessary and appropriate step,” said Singh.
“And we will not only find those who have perpetrated this incident. We will also contact those who, seated behind the scenes, conspired to carry out the harmful act on the soil of India,” he said.
The Minister of Defense said that “India is an old civilization and such a large country that it cannot be intimidated by such terrorist activities”. “People responsible for these acts will receive a strong response in the near future,” he said.
Singh described the attack on Pahalgam as “extremely inhuman” which “left us all in a deep sorrow and pain”. “I would like to repeat the resolution of the company of India that we have a zero tolerance policy against terrorism,” he said. Each citizen of India is united against this loose act, he added.
