Sameer Wankhede files defamation suit against Red Chillies Entertainment, Netflix over Aryan Khan’s Ba***ds of Bollywood : Bollywood News
The former drug control office (NCB), the Director Zonal de Mumbai, Sameer Wankhede, has moved the High Court of Delhi, tabled a defamation action against Red Chillies Entertainment PVT. Ltd., owned by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, the global streaming giant Netflix, and others. The prosecution alleges that the Bollywood Ba ** DS series contains “false, malicious and defamatory” representations which harm its reputation, Rédi.

The development occurs shortly after a scene from the beginnings of director of Aryan Khan sparked online chatter. In the sequence, an officer burst into a high -level party and confronts a man smoking a joint. When the officer learns that the man is not Bollywood, he rejects him. A few moments later, the officer targeted another reveler – without engaging in drugs but sipping a drink – and stopping it only because of his affiliation to Bollywood.

Internet users quickly established parallels between the scene and the arrest of Aryan Khan in 2021 by the NCB during a cruise ship raid, an operation led by Wankhede. Although Aryan was placed in police custody for alleged possession and consumption of drugs, no drugs were found on him.
The case then turned into a very publicized controversy when the Central Inquiry Bureau (CBI) accused Wankhede of having tried to extort RS 25 Khan family crore in exchange for favorable treatment. Reports suggest that RS 50 Lakh would have been paid, although Wankhede has always denied the accusations.
The High Court of Delhi should hear Wankhede’s defamation advocacy in the coming weeks.
