Sania Mirza spoke of the challenges she faced in her journey through maternity and even gave an overview of raising her son – Izhaan Mirza Malik – with ex -Mari Shoaib Malik. In a frank conversation on YouTubeSania has spoken of many subjects – ranging from juggling difficulties with the expectations and societal responsibilities that women face in parenting. Sania said it was never 50-50 with regard to the responsibilities of both parents and even shared personal anecdotes.
“It’s never 50-50 between the two parents … I am ralated for 2.5 to 3 months. For me, it was the most difficult part of pregnancy. Sania even talked about the guilt she felt while traveling for the first time since the birth of her son. In a conversation that resounded with the working mothers, Sania said that she had to go to Delhi for an event only after the birth of her son and shared her feelings during this trip.
“The first time I left Izhaan, he was six weeks old. It was the hardest flight I took, I think. I had to go to Delhi for an event, and I said that I couldn’t do it. I was dramatic because, honestly, this is not the case. As we do all the time, and Sania said in the interview.
