Carlos Alcaraz Reaches Italian Open Final And Potential Jannik Sinner Showdown




Carlos Alcaraz set up a potential final of the Italian open with Jannik Sinner after spending the semi-final on Friday with Home Hope Lorenzo Musetti A Sets winner, 6-3, 7-6 (7/4). The quadruple champion of the Grand Chelem Alcaraz overcome Musetti and Windy Conditions in just over two hours to reach its fourth final of the season before the French Open which begins later this month. Alcaraz is now awaiting the result of Sinner’s latest confrontation with Tommy Paul later Friday to see if he will get tennis fans of the force test worldwide. The world’s number one sinner is the favorite of the red to beat American Paul after having dropped the champion of Madrid Open Casper Ruud Thursday with an amazing tennis exhibition.

“The two players are playing very well. Everyone saw the match against Casper,” said Alcaraz, who could again face a crowd from the Central Partisan Court on Sunday.

The couple will meet Veronika Kudermetova and Elise Mertens or Storm Hunter and Ellen Perez in the final on Sunday, before Paolini can already be sung champion in single.

The late Bloot Paolini faces Coco Gauff on Saturday by targeting his second 1000 series title at the age of 29 and to become the first Italian women to win in Rome from Raffaella Reggi in 1985.
