Fresh Details Of Kagiso Rabada’s Recreational Drug Use Emerge: “Cocaine…”

The southern South Africa stimulator, Kagiso Rabada, recently imposed a provisional ban on the consumption of recreational drugs. The 29 -year -old man left IPL, after playing only two games for Gujarat Titans (GT), to go home last month, where he served the ban on the month and also finished an education and awareness program to prevent additional drug addiction. According to a report by the South African newspaper ReportTraces of Benzoylecgonine (BZE), a cocaine metabolite was found on its urine sample during the SA20 earlier this year.

The report added that the Rabada legal team has shown that its cocaine consumption was out of competition because the concentration (less than 1,000 nanograms per milliliter) suggested prior use, and not use on test day.

“It was intelligent to take this path,” said Khalid Galant, CEO of the South African Institute for Drugless Sport (said). “If you know you have done it, it saves you time and legal costs.”

Rabada, in a press release published by GT last month, was “deeply sorry” for his actions.

“The South African Institute for Drugless Sport (Saids) has completed the investigation. Rabada has honored its provisional suspension and has also completed a program. It is now entirely available for the selection in the remaining matches of IPL.”

The statement did not specify the duration of the suspension.

Rabada, who only played two games for Gujarat in this season of the T20 tournament, was “deeply sorry” for his actions.

“This moment will not define me. I will continue to do what I have always done, working continuously hard and playing with passion and dedication to my job,” said Rabada.

Meanwhile, the IPL was sparked for a week in the middle of increasing tensions between India and Pakistan on the border.

The tournament could resume next weekend with an India and a Pakistan currently under a cease-fire agreement.
