According to police officials, Humaira died almost two weeks before the retirement of his body. The discovery intervened after its owner, incapable of contacting her and concerned by the unpaid rent, asked for legal action to start the expulsion procedures. According to the court directive, the Gizri police visited the apartment in the shopping area of Ittehad. When they received no response around 3:15 p.m., the police got a path in the locked apartment, which emitted a foul odor.
“The apartment was locked from the interior, including the balcony door,” confirmed the Deputy Inspector General South (DIG) Syed Asad Raza in a declaration to the images of the Pakistani news portal. Police said there were no immediate signs of unfair play on the scene.
Medical-legal experts in the crime unit were brought to collect evidence, and the human body was transported to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an additional medical and legal examination. Dr. Summaiya Syed, a JPMC police surgeon, confirmed the advanced decomposition state and said: “The cause of the death remains reserved”. An investigation is underway, the police awaiting the post-mortem report to establish the exact cause of the death.
The reports suggest that Humaira had lived alone in the rented apartment and had not paid the rent for several months. Police are currently working to retrace their relatives by examining their mobile phone files.
Humaira Asghar had appeared previously in the reality show of Ary Tamasha Ghar and had played a role in the 2015 film Jalaïbe. According to her Instagram biography, she was more than a simple actress and model – she also identified as theater artist, painter, sculptor and fitness passionate. It had more than 713,000 subscribers on the platform. His latest article, shared on September 30, 2024, presented a series of free photographs.
