The recent visit to Shraddha Kapoor at the Maddock Films office in Mumbai on May 26, 2025 sparked a lot of excitement and rumors on a new potential project. According to a Pinkvilla report, the actress was there for a creative meeting with producer Dinen Vijan, referring to an exciting collaboration to come.

A source from the industry revealed: “Shraddha Kapoor met Dinesh Vijan, and they were then joined by Laxman Uttekar, director of Chhaava.“”
According to the initiate, the meeting was more than simply informal – he understood a story narration that impressed Shraddha. “Laxman and Shraddha spoke of a script, which she really liked and gave her initial approval. If everything is going well, Shraddha Kapoor is ready to run the next film by Laxman Uttekar after Chhaava.“”
The new project would be adapted from a well -known marathi novel and will show Shraddha in a role deeply linked to cultural roots. The source added: “All other details are kept under the Wraps for the moment. There is a possibility of a male track on the list A to come on board the film. ”
Although discussions are still in the initial phase, the probability that this collaboration in the future is high. Producer Dinesh Vijan is currently experiencing a huge success, after having produced two successful films which each reported on 500 RS crores. He also plans to extend his horror comedy franchise, with Thama—Faturant Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in main roles – created to strike the rooms during Diwali 2025.
Shraddha Kapoor was seen for the last time Stone 2A horror comedy published in 2024. She played alongside Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Péshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film has become a huge success at the box office and became the most profitable Hindi film of the year.
