After the IPL 2025 match between the kings of Punjab and the capitals of Delhi in Dharamsala, several reports said that the players present in the town hill of Himachal Pradesh would leave for Delhi or any other city via the train. But now a new development has occurred. Indian railways have not been authorized due to a safety reason to transport players to Delhi from Pathankot. Now players will be transported by bus.

The development comes after the match IPL 2025 on Thursday between PBKS and DC was canceled after only 10.1 games at the HPCA stadium in Dharamshala, due to the current military tension between India and Pakistan. Pakistan drone strikes have resulted in Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur, which are all near Dharamshala.

Around 9:30 p.m. Thursday evening, one of the four spotlights died and soon the ground has become partially dark. It was at this point that the players and the referees returned to the locker room, even if the remaining projections began to be extinguished.

Soon, spectators were invited to leave the stadium in a calm manner, a process undertaken gently by the local authorities and the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA). The visuals have also shown the president of IPL, Arun Dhumal, walking along the border and urging fans to leave the stadium. The players on both sides, as well as other staff members working around the game, also returned to their respective hotels safely.

Since cross -border tensions increased Thursday, the future of IPL 2025 – including 12 championship games and the playoffs – seems uncertain. A call to know if the rest of the tournament will take place as planned is expected, following a meeting between the best decision -makers in the BCCI and the councils from the central government.
