Yash Raj Films (YRF) is officially on board as an international distributor of the long -awaited supernatural comedy of Maddock Films Thamma. This marks a significant collaboration between two of the largest Bollywood production houses, YRF ensuring that the film reaches the public on the world markets.

Announcing the partnership on social networks, YRF shared: “YRF to distribute #Thamma on international markets. #Thamma out the world in the cinemas on October 21. ” The association should give Thamma A wider international scope, given the vast YRF distribution network in several territories.
Produced by Maddock Films by Dinesh Vijan, the project is described as a crucial turning point in the world of supernatural horror very popular with the studio. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film is presented as a “bloody love story” which mixes the horror inspired by folklore with original humor. The recently published trailer, unveiled last week, teased this unique mixture and has already intrigued the public with its new version of the supernatural romance.

The film features Ayushmann Khurrana as a vampire, marking his entry into the kind of horror. His chemistry on the screen with Rashmika Mandanna – who is twinned with him for the first time – adopts anticipation. Besides them, the experienced actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal also play pivotal roles.
Thamma is the latest addition to the world of Maddock horror comedy, which already includes the Rajkummar Rao – Shraddha Kapoor Starrer StrokeVarun Dhawan BhediyaAnd Munjya With Abhay Verma and Sharvari. With each film expanding the interconnected supernatural world, Thamma is positioned as a key chapter which will postpone the inheritance of the franchise.
