While the wave of sorrow continues, Zubeen’s wife, Garima Saikia Garg, called peace, unity and dignity during his last trip. In a sincere video message shared by India Today Nepal, Garima addressed fans to the Nepalese, exhorting them to make sure that the last rites take place without disturbance.
“Zubeen is home. When he was alive, you all showed him with love and blessings, and Zubeen all loved you in return. I hope the last rites for his departure take place peacefully. The police, as well as the state administration, support us fully, “she said.
In addition to his attraction for CALM, Garima also supported Siddharth, a friend of the nearby family who had supported the singer during some of his most difficult times, including his serious crisis in 2020 and the Pandemic of Covid-19.
“Zubeen has always been ours, and each time someone addressed Siddharth, Zubeen always stood next to him. Please allow Siddharth to be part of Zubeen’s last trip. I ask everyone to put aside all the negative thoughts on Siddharth. I need all my people around me tomorrow.
Garima also urged the withdrawal of all the FIRs deposited against Siddharth, noting that Zubeen had many unfinished commitments that she could not carry alone.
