Urvashi Rautela, Sonu Sood questioned by ED in online betting app investigation; Yuvraj Singh, Rana Daggubati also under scanner: Reports : Bollywood News
The actors Urvashi Rautela and Sonu Sood were recently summoned and questioned by the Directorate of the Application of Laws (ED) as part of an extended survey on the promotion of illegal online Paris platforms. The investigation focuses on the mentions of application celebrities which would have operated in violation of the Indian laws of the game.

According to NDTV Profit, the ED examines the duo affiliations with certain online game websites. The reports suggest that Urvashi and Sonu have been interviewed regarding their approval contracts and their promotional roles related to Paris applications, including substitution platforms such as “1xbat”, which would have redirected users through QR codes and web links to 1xbet – a gaming site prohibited in India.
An emergency official, quoted by News18, said: “These platforms have acquired massive visibility by associating celebrities and influencers – even in contempt for the government’s explicit prohibitions.” So far, neither the Urvashi Rautela nor Sonu Sood teams have published official statements on the issue.
The survey also includes other public figures from the entertainment and sport industries. Yuvraj Singh cricket players, Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina were also called to interrogation. ED believes that the approvals of these high -level names have played a central role in the credibility and visibility of prohibited platforms, thus facilitating the commitment of large -scale users and, in turn, financial fraud.
In March of this year, an FIR was deposited in Hyderabad against 25 celebrities for the promotion of illegal Paris platforms. The list includes actors and public figures such as Nidhi Agarwal, Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Manchu Lakshmi and Praneetha.
