Actor Vijay Deverakonda escaped unscathed after his car was finished on the Hyderabad-Bangaluru motorway in the Telangana Jogulamba Gadwal district earlier during the day. The incident took place while the Liger Star was traveling from Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, to Hyderabad in his Lexus LM350H. The reports indicate that the rear part of his vehicle has undergone damage in the collision.

According to reports, the other vehicle involved in the accident did not stop and continued to Hyderabad. Deverakonda driver filed a complaint for police and authorities launched an investigation into the flight offense incident.
One day before the incident, Vijay Deverakonda had visited Sri Sri Sathya Sai Baba Prasanthi Nilayam Ashram in Puttaparthi with his family. His visit followed the reports of a private commitment with actor Rashmika Mandanna on October 3, which was allegedly followed by close friends and family.

Fans also spotted a ring on Vijay’s finger during his visit, fueling new speculation about his relationship with Rashmika. Sources suggest that the couple plans to marry in February 2026, although neither Vijay nor Rashmika have officially confirmed their commitment.
Several videos allegedly showing that the damaged vehicle was circulating on social networks, although their authenticity was not checked. The police confirmed that Vijay Deverakonda had passed through a friend’s car after the accident and reached Hyderabad safely.
His team also filed an official complaint concerning the incident. Until now, neither the actor nor his family have published a public declaration concerning the accident.
