With the Super League of Pakistan (PSL) parallel to the Indian Premier League (IPL), fans had a lot of cricket content to catch up. Even the former cricket players and the experts were quite busy, keeping a trace of the procedure in the two leagues. Former Pakistani cricket player Ramiz Raja is one of those experts who seem to follow the two leagues with great interest. A side effect of such cricket content has been seen when Ramiz accidentally gave a fold in the PSL, a price for “Catch of the IPL”.

The former Pakistani captain invited Joshua Little to recover his prize “Catch of the match” after the match between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars on Tuesday. It was at this moment that Ramiz ended up calling it “taking the IPL” instead of PSL.

The stakeholders present at the presentation ceremony were also perplexed to hear what Ramiz said. A section of Pakistan fans even asked for apologies to Ramiz for his missteps.

As for the match, Multan Sultans won the competition after having managed to defend the total of 228 points against Lahore Qalandars. Yasir Khan de Multan was appointed the game player for his 87 -point shot on only 44 balls. Iftikhar Ahmed, with a quick 40 -ball shot, was the second top scorer in the sultans.

For Lahore, the 50 balls of 27 Balles by Sikandar Raza were the best fight effort. However, the team could not reach 195/9 in 20 Overs, therefore losing the 33 -point competition.

“I worked hard for this day, our team needed this kind of sleeve. Happy to contribute. There is a lot of hard work and practice behind it. This is why I did no problem. This is how I play my blows, I know my power, I can hit him directly and no more midwicket. I wanted to support my strength. I had waited for my possibility,” said Yasir after the match.
