Karun Nair and Ishan Kishan were included in India a team for the next tour of England while the team will be led by Abhimanyu Easwaran. The team also presented Yashasvi Jaiswal while Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan will join the team before their second match. Dhruv Jurel was appointed vice-captain while Nitish Kumar Reddy and Shardul Thakur were also appointed to the team. Ruturaj Gaikwad, who missed IPL 2025 due to an injury, and Sarfaraz Khan also found his place in the team.

According to the BCCI press release, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan will join the team before the second match. The two games will take place on May 30 and June 6.

India will play two first class games against the Lions of England in Canterbury and Northampton.

The tour will end with a match against Team India (senior men).
