It Would Be Honour To Coach Team India: Zaheer Khan

Zaheer Khan, a former Indian Bowler and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) player for the Indian Premier League, said it would be an honor if he had the opportunity to train the India team. “It would be an honor to train Team India,” Zaheer Khan told Boria Majumdar in Kolkata during a CII event, according to a video published by Revsportz on their round X. The fast left arm launcher continued to participate in the Premier Indian League (IPL) for two additional years before retiring in 2017. After his retirement, Zaheer Khan worked as a Bowling coach Mumbai Indians in international cricket before accepting a mentor position at LSG in 2024.

Zaheer Khan made his debut during the CIP Cup ICC in 2000 and immediately made the headlines when he sent a York Steve Waugh, the fighter for the rhythm. Zaheer represented the Indians of Mumbai, the Royaux Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils in IPL. He played 100 games in the IPL and won 102 counters at an economic rate of 7.59.
